How to get to the Cité

The Cité des Climats et vins de Bourgogne in Beaune is located:

3 mins from the A6 / A31 motorway
3 hours 30 mins from Paris
1 hour 45 mins from Lyon
2 hours 15 mins from Geneva
On the Route des Grands Crus de Bourgogne

Beaune’s railway station is a 25-minute walk from the Cité.

Electric shuttles link the railway station with the Cité in 5 minutes.

The Cité is easily accessible by bike via an approved cycle path 500 metres away.

The Cité is served by two bus routes: numbers 2 and 5 and by an electric shuttle.

Two car parks near the Cité allow for easy parking.

The Cité car park is accessible during opening hours.
Spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility are available at the entrance to the Cité.

Another car park is situated near the motorway rest area, a 20-minute walk from the Cité.

An area for motorhomes is located at 28 rue du Faubourg Saint-Jacques, less than 20 minutes’ walk from the Cité.

La Cité des Climats et vins de Bourgogne is committed to an approach focussed on accessibility, to ensure an optimal experience for all visitors.

  • People of reduced mobility

    The entire building is accessible to people of reduced mobility (reserved parking spaces, adapted toilets, dedicated places in each area, self-service lift).

    The immersive visitor trail includes scenographic devices of specially adapted height.

  • Hearing impairment

    A video-guide in sign language is currently being created for the immersive visitor trail in Beaune. This will facilitate the use of the various informational devices .

  • Visual impairment

    Audio-guides in French, English and German are available at reception, upon request.

Animals inside the Cité

Animals are not allowed within the Cité, with the exception of guide dogs for the blind or other service animals for people with disabilities.
