Conference: Mycorrhizae associated with the vine: is the future of the vine under our feet?

1st “GESTiculations” meeting as part of the partnership between the Cité and the GEST (Groupement d’Étude et de Suivi des Terroirs)

On April 18, 2024 at 6pm, at La Cité in Beaune, come and find out more about the vine’s environment.

In its environment, the vine is associated with various micro-organisms, forming a supergroup known as a holobiont. This holobiont is influenced by a number of factors, such as cultivation itineraries, which modify the interactions within it. One of the most important is the arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis. This symbiosis between soil fungi and plant roots provides many services, both to the plant and to the ecosystem as a whole.

Come and take part in this exchange with two specialists in this field and enhance your knowledge of the vine’s ecosystem, the micro-organisms required for its development, or the important issue of global warming.

Guests:

  • Pierre-Emmanuel COURTY, Research Director INRAE Dijon
  • Pierre-Antoine NOCETO, Research & Innovation Project Manager at Mycophyto and former INRAE Dijon research engineer.
